Strong, Supported, and Empowered—Through Every Phase of Motherhood
Exercise - especially strength training - is not just safe during pregnancy and postpartum. It is essential. It boosts mood, improves sleep, supports your changing body, and helps you feel your best. Yet, proper guidance is crucial during this time.
Our Mom's Power Hour class offers a fun, welcoming space to move with confidence alongside other moms in a small group training setting so that you can receive individualized guidance and attention. Workouts are programmed and coached by Danielle, a Doctor of Physical Therapy board-certified in women's health and trained in perinatal exercise, so you are supported and informed every step of the way.

How do I sign up?
Click the link to book online, and make sure you add yourself each class you want to attend! From there a member from our team will reach out to confirm your preferred sign-up option (class pack or individual classes), and process your payment.
Does it matter how long ago I had my baby?
No! We welcome all postpartum moms regardless of how long it has been since your last delivery! Our instruction will emphasize breathing, core activation, and postural techniques that are beneficial to learn during pregnancy and after childbirth!
How do I find the class?
The gym is a little "hole in the wall!" Go to 12 High Street in Wakefield (Sweenor Builders). The gym entrance is on the left side of the building, through a small door that will be propped open 10 minutes before the start of class. You can park in any of the parking spots in the big lot!
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an age restriction for kids?
No! You are welcome to bring children of any age, as long as you are able to safely monitor them throughout the workout. We have had 8-week olds and 4-year olds join their moms in class!
Do I need to have prior exercise experience?
The class is open to all experience levels including complete beginners! All exercises are modifiable to use different types of equipment or body weight, and programming is designed to be done at your own pace!
Can I join if I am currently pregnant?
Yes! Classes are open to pregnant moms (including first-time moms). Exercises is one of the most beneficial things to promote health during pregnancy and beyond. Just make sure you have clearance from your medical team!
What should I bring to class?
Please make sure to bring your own filled water bottle, wear close-toed sneakers, and layers (especially in the winter). Bring anything you may need for your baby if they are joining, and we have plenty of space for them to spread out with toys and activities. There are lockers available to store personal items.
